DOC SHAWNEE CC MAINTENANCE WORKER (POWER PLANT)

1. Perform routine maintenance on power plant equipment, including but not limited to boilers, generators, pumps, and motors.
2. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
3. Conduct regular inspections of power plant equipment to identify potential problems and ensure proper functioning.
4. Monitor and maintain proper levels of fuel, oil, and other necessary supplies for power plant operations.
5. Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance tasks.
6. Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and report any issues or concerns to the supervisor.
7. Collaborate with other maintenance workers and facility staff to address any maintenance needs or emergencies.
8. Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
9. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored.
10. Assist in the installation of new equipment or upgrades to existing systems as needed.
11. Adhere to department policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
12. Promote a positive and professional image of the facility and the department through interactions with offenders, staff, and the public.
13. Support the mission of the Department of Corrections by contributing to the rehabilitation and reintegration of offenders.
14. Maintain confidentiality and security of all sensitive information and materials related to the facility.
15. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
