
Deputy Director

- Collaborate with the Director to develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to achieve the department's goals and objectives.
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the department, including budget allocation, resource management, and performance evaluation.
- Ensure all programs and services provided by the department are in compliance with state laws and regulations.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders, including community organizations, government agencies, and elected officials.
- Lead and support a team of department staff, providing direction, guidance, and mentorship to promote a positive and productive work environment.
- Monitor and analyze department performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for enhancing service delivery.
- Review and approve department policies and procedures to ensure consistency and adherence to state guidelines.
- Represent the department at meetings, conferences, and events to promote awareness and collaboration with other organizations.
- Conduct research and stay informed on emerging trends and best practices in public administration to inform decision-making and drive innovation within the department.
- Serve as a liaison between the Director and department staff, communicating updates, changes, and priorities to promote alignment and accountability.
Bachelor's Degree In Public Administration, Political Science, Or A Related Field.
At Least 5 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Role, Preferably In A Government Agency Or Non-Profit Organization.
Strong Knowledge Of State And Federal Laws And Regulations, As Well As Budgeting And Financial Management.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate And Build Relationships With A Diverse Range Of Stakeholders.
Demonstrated Experience In Strategic Planning, Project Management, And Implementing Organizational Initiatives.
