
CONSERVATION/HISTORIC PRESERVATION WORKER

- Conduct research and gather information on state parks and historic sites in order to develop conservation and preservation plans.
- Perform hands-on conservation and preservation work, such as repairing and maintaining trails, buildings, and other infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and guidelines for conservation and historic preservation.
- Monitor and report on the condition of state parks and historic sites, identifying potential areas for improvement or restoration.
- Collaborate with other team members and external partners to plan and execute conservation and preservation projects.
- Educate the public on the importance of conservation and historic preservation through outreach programs and events.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all conservation and preservation activities.
- Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to conservation and historic preservation.
- Stay updated on new techniques and technologies in the field of conservation and historic preservation.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while working on conservation and preservation projects.
Knowledge Of Federal And State Historic Preservation Laws, Regulations, And Guidelines.
Bachelor's Degree In Historic Preservation, Conservation, Architecture, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Historic Preservation Or Conservation Work.
Strong Organizational And Project Management Skills.
Ability To Work Independently And Collaboratively With Diverse Stakeholders, Including Government Agencies, Non-Profit Organizations, And Community Members.
