
Tax Clerk

- Assist with the preparation and processing of tax forms: The Tax Clerk will be responsible for accurately and efficiently preparing and processing various tax forms, including but not limited to income tax, sales tax, and property tax forms.
- Maintain accurate records: The Tax Clerk will be responsible for maintaining organized and up-to-date records of all tax forms, payments, and correspondence. This includes inputting data into computer systems, filing physical copies of forms, and ensuring all records are accurate and complete.
- Provide support to taxpayers: The Tax Clerk will serve as a point of contact for taxpayers, providing assistance and guidance on tax-related inquiries. This may include answering phone calls, responding to emails, and providing information on tax laws and regulations.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations: The Tax Clerk will be responsible for staying up-to-date on all relevant tax laws and regulations and ensuring that all tax forms and processes are in compliance.
- Work in a fast-paced office environment: The Tax Clerk will be expected to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced office environment, meeting deadlines and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or A Related Field.
Experience In Tax Preparation Or Accounting, Preferably In A Government Setting.
Knowledge Of State Tax Laws And Regulations.
