3. Conduct assessments and evaluations to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and therapists, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and interventions.
6. Provide education and support to patients and their families on the importance of recreational therapy in improving mental and emotional health.
7. Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients during recreational activities, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
8. Stay informed about current trends and research in recreational therapy to continually enhance treatment methods and improve patient outcomes.
9. Serve as a mentor and resource for Recreational Therapist I and II staff, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
10. Adhere to ethical and legal standards in all aspects of job duties and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
