  12. Collaborate with other agencies and organizations to develop and implement mental health programs and initiatives.
  13. Conduct trainings and workshops for community members and professionals on mental health topics.
  14. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions with clients and their information.
  15. Continuously evaluate and adapt treatment plans to ensure the most effective care for clients.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Counseling, Psychology, Or Social Work: A Strong Educational Background In Mental Health Is Essential For A Mental Health Specialist Position. A Master's Degree In A Related Field Demonstrates A Deep Understanding Of Psychological Theories And Techniques.

  • State Licensure: In Order To Practice As A Mental Health Specialist In The State Of Hawaii, Candidates Must Hold A Current State License. This Ensures That The Individual Has Met The Necessary Education And Training Requirements And Is Qualified To Provide Mental Health Services.

  • Experience In Mental Health Counseling: Previous Experience In A Mental Health Counseling Role Is Highly Desired For This Position. This Can Include Working In A Clinical Setting, Providing Individual Or Group Therapy, Or Conducting Mental Health Assessments.

  • Knowledge Of Hawaii's Mental Health Laws And Regulations: As A Mental Health Specialist In The State Of Hawaii, It Is Important To Have A Strong Understanding Of The State's Laws And Regulations Related To Mental Health. This Includes Knowledge Of Confidentiality, Mandatory Reporting, And Ethical Standards.
