  1. Supervise and manage a team of equipment operators to ensure safe and efficient operation of heavy equipment.
  2. Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of equipment operators.
  3. Maintain and monitor equipment usage and ensure adherence to maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance.
  4. Evaluate and monitor the performance of equipment operators and provide feedback for improvement.
  5. Collaborate with other departments and agencies to coordinate equipment usage and prioritize projects.
  6. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
  7. Monitor and manage inventory levels of equipment and supplies to ensure availability for projects and minimize downtime.
  8. Communicate effectively with team members, superiors, and other stakeholders to provide updates on project status and address any issues that may arise.
  9. Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions and breakdowns in a timely manner.
  10. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in heavy equipment technology to improve operations and efficiency.
  11. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members and foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
  12. Create and maintain reports and documentation to track equipment usage, maintenance, and project progress.
  13. Manage and allocate resources, including equipment, materials, and manpower, to ensure timely completion of projects.
  14. Identify and implement cost-saving measures to improve efficiency and reduce expenses.
  15. Continuously strive for excellence and seek opportunities for professional growth and development.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Heavy Equipment Operation And Maintenance, With At Least 2 Years In A Supervisory Role.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of State And Federal Regulations Related To Heavy Equipment Operation And Safety.

  • Strong Leadership And Communication Skills To Effectively Manage A Team Of Equipment Operators And Communicate With Other Departments And Agencies.

  • Demonstrated Proficiency In Project Planning And Budget Management.

  • Valid Hawaii Cdl And Clean Driving Record.
