- Communicate findings: Effectively communicate epidemiological findings and recommendations to various stakeholders, including government officials, healthcare providers, and the general public.
- Stay updated on industry developments: Stay informed about the latest developments, research, and best practices in the field of epidemiology to continuously improve and enhance disease prevention efforts.
- Conduct research: Conduct research studies and projects related to public health and disease prevention to support evidence-based decision-making.
- Manage data systems: Oversee the management and maintenance of data systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of data for analysis and reporting purposes.
- Participate in emergency response efforts: Respond to public health emergencies, such as disease outbreaks, by providing timely and accurate data analysis and recommendations for effective response and control measures.
A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In Epidemiology Or A Related Field, With At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Epidemiological Research And Analysis.
Extensive Knowledge And Understanding Of Public Health Principles, Including Disease Surveillance, Outbreak Investigation, And Prevention Strategies.
Proficiency In Statistical Analysis Software Such As Sas, R, Or Stata, And Experience In Utilizing Epidemiological Data To Inform Decision-Making And Public Health Policy.
Strong Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, With The Ability To Effectively Present Complex Data And Findings To A Variety Of Audiences.
Experience In Leading And Managing Epidemiological Projects And Teams, With A Demonstrated Ability To Prioritize Tasks, Meet Deadlines, And Work Collaboratively With Other Professionals And Stakeholders.
