  1. Create and maintain accurate and detailed technical drawings and plans for various projects.
  2. Utilize drafting and design software to produce high-quality and professional drawings.
  3. Collaborate with team members to ensure consistency and accuracy in all drawings.
  4. Review and revise existing drawings as needed.
  5. Ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
  6. Communicate with project managers and engineers to understand project requirements.

  9. Train and mentor junior drafting technicians.

  12. Attend project meetings and provide technical support as needed.
  13. Maintain organized and updated records of all drawings and plans.
  14. Identify and resolve any discrepancies or errors in drawings.
  15. Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  16. Assist with quality control and quality assurance procedures.
  17. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Drafting, Architecture, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Drafting And Design, Preferably In A Government Setting.

  • Proficient In Autocad And Other Drafting Software.

  • Knowledge Of Building Codes And Regulations In The State Of Hawaii.

  • Strong Communication And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team.
