  1. Prepare and serve meals according to dietary guidelines and individualized dietary needs for residents.
  2. Assist in meal planning and menu development, taking into consideration resident preferences and dietary restrictions.
  3. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, residents, and their families to ensure satisfaction with meals and address any concerns or special requests.
  4. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas.
  5. Monitor and record food and supply inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper storage.
  6. Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent foodborne illnesses and accidents.
  7. Collaborate with other staff members to create a positive and welcoming dining experience for residents.
  8. Provide support to residents with feeding and dietary needs, including special diets and feeding assistance.
  9. Participate in training and continuing education to stay updated on dietary guidelines and best practices.
  10. Demonstrate a caring and compassionate attitude towards residents and their families, building trusting relationships and promoting a positive work environment.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent.

  • Certificate Or Degree In Nutrition Or Food Service Management.

  • Prior Experience In Food Service, Preferably In A Healthcare Or Institutional Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Food Safety And Sanitation Regulations.

  • Ability To Lift And Carry Up To 50 Pounds And Stand For Extended Periods Of Time.
