  1. Assist in the management of daily operations at various outdoor recreational areas in the state of Hawaii.
  2. Work closely with the Field Operations Manager to ensure efficient and effective management of resources and personnel.
  3. Help develop and implement plans for the maintenance, improvement, and preservation of Hawaii's natural landscapes.
  4. Lead and supervise a team of employees, providing guidance and support to ensure a positive work environment.
  5. Monitor and enforce safety protocols to ensure the well-being of both employees and visitors.
  6. Oversee the scheduling and coordination of staff, equipment, and resources to ensure smooth operations.
  7. Collaborate with other departments and agencies to promote and enhance the state's outdoor recreational areas.
  8. Conduct regular inspections and assessments to identify areas for improvement and address any issues that arise.
  9. Maintain accurate records and reports on operations, budget, and resources.
  10. Continuously seek ways to improve efficiency and effectiveness in operations while maintaining a high standard of service.
  11. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the management of outdoor recreational areas.
  12. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, open communication, and mutual respect.
  13. Assist in the development and implementation of training programs for staff to ensure ongoing professional development.
  14. Represent the state of Hawaii and its values in a professional and respectful manner at all times.
  15. Other duties as assigned by the Field Operations Manager or superiors.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Management, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Field Operations Or Project Management.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact Effectively With Diverse Stakeholders.
