- Assist in the management of daily operations at various outdoor recreational areas in the state of Hawaii.
- Work closely with the Field Operations Manager to ensure efficient and effective management of resources and personnel.
- Help develop and implement plans for the maintenance, improvement, and preservation of Hawaii's natural landscapes.
- Lead and supervise a team of employees, providing guidance and support to ensure a positive work environment.
- Monitor and enforce safety protocols to ensure the well-being of both employees and visitors.
- Oversee the scheduling and coordination of staff, equipment, and resources to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with other departments and agencies to promote and enhance the state's outdoor recreational areas.
- Conduct regular inspections and assessments to identify areas for improvement and address any issues that arise.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on operations, budget, and resources.
- Continuously seek ways to improve efficiency and effectiveness in operations while maintaining a high standard of service.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the management of outdoor recreational areas.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, open communication, and mutual respect.
- Assist in the development and implementation of training programs for staff to ensure ongoing professional development.
- Represent the state of Hawaii and its values in a professional and respectful manner at all times.
- Other duties as assigned by the Field Operations Manager or superiors.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Management, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Field Operations Or Project Management.
Strong Leadership Skills With The Ability To Manage And Motivate A Team.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact Effectively With Diverse Stakeholders.
Knowledge Of State And Federal Regulations Related To Field Operations And Project Management.
