Your expertise and understanding of the complexities surrounding these cases will be essential in providing effective counseling and support to these individuals.We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about helping others and has a strong understanding of the legal and ethical considerations involved in working with sex offenders. A bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, or a related field is required, along with a minimum of two years of experience working with sex offenders.   1. Provide counseling to individuals who have committed sexual offenses, utilizing evidence-based techniques and strategies.
  2. Develop treatment plans for each client, taking into consideration their unique needs and circumstances.
  3. Conduct regular individual and group therapy sessions to address issues such as sexual deviance, risk reduction, and relapse prevention.
  4. Collaborate with other team members, such as licensed counselors and probation officers, to ensure a coordinated and comprehensive approach to treatment.
  5. Stay up-to-date on current research and best practices in the field of sex offender treatment, and incorporate this knowledge into counseling sessions.
  6. Maintain accurate and thorough records of client progress, including treatment plans, assessments, and session notes.
  7. Adhere to all legal and ethical guidelines regarding confidentiality and reporting requirements.
  8. Monitor and evaluate client progress, and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
  9. Educate clients on the impact of their actions and help them develop empathy and accountability.
  10. Provide crisis intervention and support to clients as needed.
  11. Participate in regular supervision and continuing education opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  12. Serve as a positive role model for clients, demonstrating compassion, empathy, and professionalism in all interactions.
  13. Maintain a safe and respectful environment for clients, promoting a sense of trust and open communication.
  14. Attend and actively participate in team meetings, trainings, and other professional development opportunities.
  15. Contribute to the overall goals and mission of the organization by actively participating in program development and improvement initiatives.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working With Individuals Who Have Committed Sexual Offenses.
