- Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to support the state's overall mission and goals
- Lead and manage multiple strategic projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and with high quality results
- Collaborate with various stakeholders including government agencies, community leaders, and businesses to identify and prioritize strategic opportunities
- Conduct thorough research and analysis to inform decision-making and project plans
- Create and maintain project timelines, budgets, and progress reports to track project performance and provide updates to key stakeholders
- Identify potential risks and obstacles and develop contingency plans to mitigate them
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team and across the organization
- Communicate effectively with all levels of stakeholders, including senior leadership, to provide updates, gather feedback, and address any concerns or issues that may arise
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in project management to continuously improve processes and outcomes
- Mentor and guide junior project management staff, providing support and guidance as needed
- Represent the state at conferences, meetings, and other events to promote our mission and share updates on strategic projects and initiatives.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Project Management, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience Managing Large-Scale Projects In A Strategic Role.
Proven Track Record Of Successful Project Delivery, Including On-Time And Within Budget.
Strong Understanding Of Project Management Methodologies And Tools, Such As Agile And Scrum.
Excellent Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams And Stakeholders.
