  1. Develop and deliver curriculum for sterile technician training program to ensure students are prepared for success in the healthcare industry.
  2. Mentor and coach students to develop their skills and knowledge in sterile processing and promote best practices.
  3. Monitor and assess student progress and provide feedback to ensure they are meeting the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
  4. Stay updated on industry developments and advancements in sterile processing to continuously improve curriculum and training methods.
  5. Ensure a sterile and safe learning environment for students, including maintaining equipment and supplies.
  6. Collaborate with other faculty members to develop and implement new teaching strategies and techniques.
  7. Participate in faculty meetings and professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
  8. Provide guidance and support to students in their academic and career goals.
  9. Serve as a role model and promote professionalism, ethical behavior, and adherence to industry standards.
  10. Work with program directors to maintain accreditation and compliance with state and federal regulations.
  11. Foster a collaborative and inclusive learning environment that values diversity and promotes cultural competence.
  12. Assist with program recruitment and retention efforts to attract and retain qualified students.
  13. Evaluate student performance and participate in program evaluation and improvement initiatives.
  14. Collaborate with healthcare facilities to develop partnerships and provide opportunities for student clinical experiences.
  15. Represent the program and institution at professional conferences and events to promote the program and network with industry professionals.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field Such As Healthcare Management Or Sterile Processing.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience Working As A Sterile Technician In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Knowledge Of State And Federal Regulations Related To Sterile Processing And Infection Control.

  • Effective Teaching And Presentation Skills, With The Ability To Develop And Deliver Training Programs.

  • Strong Leadership And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Mentor And Supervise Students In A Hands-On Learning Environment.
