In this role, you will play a vital part in the day-to-day operations of our organization by ensuring the timely and accurate processing of incoming and outgoing shipments.   1. Receive and process incoming shipments from various vendors and suppliers.
  2. Verify accuracy of shipments by comparing items received to purchase orders and invoices.
  3. Inspect and report any damaged or missing items to the appropriate department.
  4. Prepare outgoing shipments by packaging, labeling, and arranging for pick-up or delivery.
  5. Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments.
  6. Ensure timely and efficient processing of all shipments to meet organizational needs.
  7. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and timely delivery of materials.
  8. Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and shipping companies to resolve any issues or delays.
  9. Monitor inventory levels and notify appropriate parties when supplies need to be restocked.
  10. Follow all safety procedures and regulations when handling shipments.
  11. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  12. Continuously look for ways to improve shipping and receiving processes and procedures.
  13. Adhere to the high standards and regulations set forth by the State of Colorado.
  14. Train and mentor new team members as needed.
  15. Uphold a professional and positive attitude while representing the State of Colorado.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Ged Is Required For This Position.

  • Experience In Shipping And Receiving: Candidates Should Have At Least 1-2 Years Of Experience In A Shipping And Receiving Role, Preferably In A Government Or Large Organization Setting.

  • Attention To Detail: The Ability To Accurately Process And Track Shipments, Verify Inventory Counts, And Maintain Organized Records Is Essential For This Role.

  • Computer Skills: Proficiency In Computer Software Programs Such As Microsoft Excel, Word, And Outlook Is Required For This Position.

  • Physical Capability: This Job May Require Standing For Long Periods Of Time, Lifting And Moving Heavy Packages, And Working In A Fast-Paced Environment. Candidates Should Be Physically Able To Meet The Demands Of The Job.
