
Shipping and Receiving Processor

- Receive and process incoming shipments from various vendors and suppliers.
- Verify accuracy of shipments by comparing items received to purchase orders and invoices.
- Inspect and report any damaged or missing items to the appropriate department.
- Prepare outgoing shipments by packaging, labeling, and arranging for pick-up or delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Ensure timely and efficient processing of all shipments to meet organizational needs.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and timely delivery of materials.
- Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and shipping companies to resolve any issues or delays.
- Monitor inventory levels and notify appropriate parties when supplies need to be restocked.
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations when handling shipments.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Continuously look for ways to improve shipping and receiving processes and procedures.
- Adhere to the high standards and regulations set forth by the State of Colorado.
- Train and mentor new team members as needed.
- Uphold a professional and positive attitude while representing the State of Colorado.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Ged Is Required For This Position.
Experience In Shipping And Receiving: Candidates Should Have At Least 1-2 Years Of Experience In A Shipping And Receiving Role, Preferably In A Government Or Large Organization Setting.
Attention To Detail: The Ability To Accurately Process And Track Shipments, Verify Inventory Counts, And Maintain Organized Records Is Essential For This Role.
Computer Skills: Proficiency In Computer Software Programs Such As Microsoft Excel, Word, And Outlook Is Required For This Position.
Physical Capability: This Job May Require Standing For Long Periods Of Time, Lifting And Moving Heavy Packages, And Working In A Fast-Paced Environment. Candidates Should Be Physically Able To Meet The Demands Of The Job.
