This role plays a crucial part in our mission to provide financial support and educational opportunities to deserving students across the state.   1. Manage the application process for the State of Colorado's scholarship program, ensuring all necessary materials and documents are received and reviewed in a timely manner.
  2. Review and evaluate scholarship submissions, considering eligibility requirements and overall merit.
  3. Communicate with applicants and their families regarding the status of their application and any necessary additional information.
  4. Collaborate with various departments, such as finance and academic affairs, to ensure accurate and timely distribution of scholarship funds.
  5. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all scholarship applications and awards.
  6. Participate in the selection process for scholarship recipients, including conducting interviews and coordinating with selection committees.
  7. Serve as a point of contact for scholarship recipients, providing support and guidance throughout their academic journey.
  8. Continuously seek out opportunities to improve and streamline the scholarship program and processes.
  9. Keep up-to-date on scholarship trends and best practices to ensure the program remains competitive and relevant.
  10. Represent the State of Colorado's scholarship program at events and conferences, promoting the program and its impact on students.
  11. Assist in creating and updating scholarship program policies and procedures.
  12. Collaborate with other team members to develop marketing and outreach strategies to increase awareness and participation in the scholarship program.
  13. Maintain and foster relationships with schools, universities, and community organizations to promote the scholarship program and recruit potential applicants.
  14. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to the scholarship program.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by the program director.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Education, Business Administration, Or Public Administration.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Scholarship Administration Or A Related Field.

  • Knowledge Of Federal And State Financial Aid Regulations And Scholarship Application Processes.

  • Excellent Organizational And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Work Independently And Collaboratively.

  • Experience With Database Management And Proficiency In Microsoft Office Applications.
