
Program Assistant - Mental Health

- Coordinate and oversee the implementation of mental health programs and services in alignment with department goals and objectives.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of program budgets, ensuring adherence to allocated funds.
- Collaborate with other team members to identify and address barriers to effective program delivery.
- Serve as a point of contact for program participants, providing information, resources, and referrals as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of program activities, including participant data and program evaluations.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings and training sessions for program staff and participants.
- Communicate regularly with program stakeholders, including community organizations, government agencies, and mental health professionals.
- Stay informed on current research, trends, and best practices in the mental health field, and integrate this knowledge into program development and delivery.
- Assist with outreach and marketing efforts to promote program awareness and engagement.
- Participate in program evaluation and quality improvement processes to ensure program effectiveness and efficiency.
- Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards in all interactions with program participants and stakeholders.
Bachelor's Degree In Psychology, Social Work, Or Related Field.
Experience Working In A Mental Health Setting, Preferably With Individuals With Severe And Persistent Mental Illness.
Knowledge Of Mental Health Laws And Regulations, Including Hipaa.
Strong Interpersonal And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Interact Effectively With A Diverse Population.
Proficiency In Computer Programs Such As Microsoft Office And Electronic Health Record Systems.
