  1. Design and oversee construction of bridges in the state of Colorado, ensuring they meet all necessary safety and functionality standards.
  2. Conduct site visits and inspections to assess current bridge conditions and identify necessary repairs or improvements.
  3. Collaborate with other engineers, architects, and construction teams to develop plans and specifications for new bridge projects.
  4. Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed drawings and models of bridge designs.
  5. Analyze and evaluate data, such as soil and traffic patterns, to inform design decisions and ensure structural integrity.
  6. Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and standards throughout the design and construction process.
  7. Manage and oversee construction projects, including coordinating with contractors, reviewing progress, and addressing any issues or challenges that arise.
  8. Monitor and track project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  9. Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures to mitigate potential hazards during construction and maintenance of bridges.
  10. Stay up-to-date on industry advancements, new technologies, and best practices in bridge design and construction to continuously improve processes and deliver high-quality work.
  11. Mentor and train junior engineers and provide guidance and support as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Professional Engineer (Pe) License In The State Of Colorado.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Civil Engineering Or A Related Field From An Accredited University.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Bridge Design And Construction, Preferably With A Focus On Projects Within The State Of Colorado.

  • Strong Knowledge Of State And Federal Regulations, Codes, And Standards Related To Bridge Design And Construction.

  • Experience With Project Management, Including Budgeting, Scheduling, And Coordination With Multiple Stakeholders.
