Job Description

  1. Provide individual and group therapy sessions to clients with a wide range of mental health concerns, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance abuse.
  2. Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of clients to determine appropriate treatment plans and interventions.
  3. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and community resources to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for clients.
  4. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and other relevant information in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
  5. Utilize evidence-based practices and interventions to promote positive outcomes for clients.
  6. Advocate for clients and their families to ensure their needs are met and their rights are respected.
  7. Participate in regular supervision, team meetings, and trainings to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
  8. Adhere to ethical and legal standards of practice and maintain client confidentiality.
  9. Build and maintain therapeutic relationships with clients, families, and stakeholders.
  10. Stay up-to-date on current research and best practices in the field of mental health to provide the highest quality of care.
  11. Demonstrate cultural competency and sensitivity in working with diverse populations.
  12. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while representing the agency and the state of Colorado.
  13. Collaborate with other mental health professionals and agencies to promote a coordinated and integrated system of care.
  14. Identify and address potential barriers to treatment and proactively seek solutions to improve access and quality of services.
  15. Maintain compliance with all applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
  16. Serve as a role model of compassion, empathy, and professionalism for colleagues and clients.
  17. Continuously evaluate and adapt treatment plans to meet the changing needs of clients.
  18. Attend and actively participate in required trainings and professional development opportunities.
  19. Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment goals and assist them in achieving those goals.
  20. Participate in program development and quality improvement initiatives to enhance the services provided to clients.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Counseling, Psychology, Or Social Work From An Accredited Institution.

  • Active License In The State Of Colorado As A Mental Health Professional (E.g. Lpc, Lcsw, Lmft).

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Providing Mental Health Counseling Or Therapy.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Evidence-Based Treatment Modalities For A Variety Of Mental Health Disorders.

  • Ability To Assess And Diagnose Mental Health Conditions, Develop Treatment Plans, And Provide Individual And Group Therapy.
