  1. Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  2. Provide individual and group therapy sessions to clients using evidence-based practices.
  3. Monitor and evaluate clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of clients' treatment progress and any relevant information.
  5. Collaborate with other members of the mental health team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and case managers, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
  6. Educate clients and their families about mental health disorders, treatment options, and coping strategies.
  7. Stay current on best practices and new developments in the field of mental health to continually improve services.
  8. Adhere to ethical and legal standards in all aspects of job responsibilities.
  9. Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and other professionals involved in clients' care.
  10. Participate in regular supervision and continuing education to maintain licensure and enhance clinical skills.
  11. Advocate for clients' needs and rights within the mental health system.
  12. Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients and their families.
  13. Support and promote the mission, values, and policies of the State of Colorado's mental health program.
  14. Handle confidential information with discretion and follow all HIPAA regulations.
  15. Complete all required documentation and paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
  16. Attend team meetings and provide input on ways to improve services and support the program's goals.
  17. Serve as a positive and professional representative of the State of Colorado's mental health program.
  18. Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and competency in working with diverse populations.
  19. Participate in crisis interventions and provide support to clients and their families during times of need.
  20. Other duties as assigned by supervisor or program leadership.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Clinical Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Or A Related Field From An Accredited University.

  • State Licensure As A Mental Health Counselor, Marriage And Family Therapist, Or Clinical Social Worker.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Clinical Experience Providing Mental Health Treatment To Diverse Populations.

  • Knowledge And Experience In Evidence-Based Therapeutic Techniques, Such As Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, And Trauma-Informed Care.

  • Ability To Communicate Effectively And Work Collaboratively With Interdisciplinary Teams, Community Partners, And Clients From Diverse Backgrounds.
