Graduate Degree In Psychology Or Related Field: A Forensic Evaluator At The State Of Colorado Would Typically Require A Graduate Degree In Psychology, Forensic Psychology, Or A Related Field. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Strong Foundation In The Principles And Theories Of Psychology, As Well As Specialized Training In Forensic Evaluation.
Experience In Forensic Assessment And Evaluation: The Ideal Candidate For A Forensic Evaluator Position At The State Of Colorado Would Have Prior Experience In Conducting Forensic Evaluations. This Could Include Experience In Areas Such As Competency To Stand Trial, Mental State At The Time Of The Offense, And Risk Assessment.
