- Develop and implement strategies to prevent and address childhood lead poisoning in the State of Colorado.
- Conduct research and stay up-to-date on current and emerging issues related to childhood lead poisoning and environmental protection.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders including government agencies, healthcare providers, community organizations, and advocacy groups to identify and address lead poisoning risks.
- Analyze data and utilize statistical methods to evaluate the effectiveness of prevention and intervention efforts.
- Develop and deliver educational materials and training programs to increase awareness and understanding of childhood lead poisoning.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with relevant laws and regulations related to environmental protection and childhood lead poisoning.
- Provide technical assistance and guidance to local health departments, healthcare providers, and other organizations on lead poisoning prevention and mitigation strategies.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and represent the state in meetings, conferences, and other events related to childhood lead poisoning.

Bachelor's Degree In Environmental Science, Public Health, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience Working In Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Or Related Environmental Health Field.
Knowledge Of Federal And State Regulations Related To Lead Poisoning Prevention And Environmental Protection.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Work With Diverse Stakeholders, Including Government Agencies, Community Organizations, And The General Public.
Demonstrated Ability To Conduct Thorough Investigations, Analyze Data, And Develop And Implement Effective Strategies For Reducing Childhood Lead Exposure.
