As a Docket Clerk, you will play a critical role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of legal proceedings and court documents.   1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of legal proceedings and court documents.
  2. Organize and file court documents in a timely and efficient manner.
  3. Ensure all documentation is properly indexed and easily accessible for court staff and legal professionals.
  4. Monitor case schedules and ensure all deadlines are met.
  5. Prepare and distribute court calendars and schedules.
  6. Assist in the preparation of legal documents, such as subpoenas and motions.
  7. Communicate with judges, attorneys, and other court personnel to obtain necessary information and documents.
  8. Assist in the organization and preparation of court hearings and trials.
  9. Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  10. Maintain a thorough understanding of legal processes and terminology.
  11. Provide exceptional customer service to all parties involved in legal proceedings.
  12. Collaborate with other court staff to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  13. Adhere to all court rules and regulations.
  14. Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures for maintaining court records.
  15. Uphold the mission and values of the State of Colorado in all job duties.

  • Computer Proficiency: In Today's Digital Age, Docket Clerks Must Be Proficient In Using Computer Software And Databases To Manage Court Dockets.

  • Communication Skills: Docket Clerks Frequently Interact With Judges, Attorneys, And Other Court Staff, So Strong Communication Skills Are Essential In This Role. This Includes Both Written And Verbal Communication Skills.
