  1. Develop and implement business innovation strategies that align with the goals and objectives of the State of Colorado.
  2. Lead the organization in adopting cutting-edge technology to enhance business processes and drive efficiency.
  3. Oversee the management of all technology systems and resources, including hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
  4. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in technology and identify opportunities for their implementation within the organization.
  5. Conduct regular security assessments and develop and implement security protocols to protect the organization's assets and data.
  6. Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to identify business needs and develop solutions that leverage technology and drive innovation.
  7. Provide guidance and leadership to a team of technology and security professionals.
  8. Develop and manage budgets for technology and security initiatives.
  9. Stay informed about relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to technology and security, and ensure compliance within the organization.
  10. Communicate regularly with upper management and other stakeholders on the status and progress of technology and security initiatives.
  11. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the organization.
  12. Represent the State of Colorado in meetings, conferences, and other events related to technology and security.
  13. Collaborate with external partners and vendors to identify and implement technology solutions.
  14. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and partners to support business innovation and technology initiatives.
  15. Ensure that the organization's technology and security policies and procedures are documented and regularly reviewed and updated.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Information Technology, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience In Business Innovation, Technology Management, Or Security Management Roles.

  • Strong Understanding Of State And Federal Laws And Regulations Related To Information Security And Data Privacy.

  • Proven Experience In Developing And Implementing Innovative Strategies To Improve Business Processes And Enhance Technology Systems.

  • Excellent Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Various Stakeholders And Manage A Team Effectively.
