
Accountant
Supervises general accounting staff members for pay reviews, performance management and resource planning. Assists Controller in the assignment of tasks, monitoring of progress and workflow. Reviews employee work. Utilizes employee skills effectively and productively in meeting program goals Promotes appropriate staff development activities. Recognizes problems, seek appropriate input, and develop solutions to resolve personnel problems or improve procedures. Motivates staff and gain support and action from others while creating and maintaining a positive goal-oriented environment. Creates, updates, and presents trainings to campus related to the financial system, accounting guidance, reporting tools and financial policies.Reconciles monthly accounts assigned under fiscal officer role. Synthesizes data for bank accounts by analyzing input from multiple sub-systems, researching discrepancies and coordinating correcting entries.
At least 4 years of accounting experience
5 years of supervisory experience is required
Prior reconciliation experience
