- Conduct research and gather information on the history and culture of Arkansas to enhance program content.
- Collaborate with the museum team to create interactive experiences and exhibits.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining museum collections and artifacts.
- Greet and welcome visitors to the museum, providing information and assistance as needed.
- Conduct tours and presentations for school groups, community organizations, and other visitors.
- Assist with event planning and execution for museum-related events and activities.
- Communicate effectively with team members, volunteers, and visitors to ensure a positive museum experience.
- Stay up-to-date on current trends and best practices in museum programming and education.
- Ensure the safety and security of museum collections and visitors.
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to programs and activities.
- Participate in outreach efforts to promote the museum and its programs to the community.
- Provide excellent customer service and address any visitor concerns or inquiries.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling, budgeting, and inventory management.
- Uphold the mission and values of the museum and the state of Arkansas.
Bachelor's Degree In Art History, Museum Studies, Or Related Field
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience Working In A Museum Or Cultural Institution
Knowledge Of Museum Operations And Best Practices, Including Collections Management And Exhibition Planning
Excellent Organization And Time Management Skills
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Staff, Volunteers, And Visitors.
