
FAMILY SERVICE WORKER

- Provide direct services to families in need, including but not limited to, case management, crisis intervention, and resource referrals.
- Conduct assessments to determine the needs and strengths of families and develop individualized service plans.
- Collaborate with community organizations and agencies to coordinate services and resources for families.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and records of services provided.
- Monitor and track progress of families towards self-sufficiency goals.
- Advocate for families and connect them with necessary support systems and resources.
- Conduct home visits and participate in team meetings to ensure the safety and well-being of families.
- Provide education and support to families on various topics such as parenting, budgeting, and accessing community resources.
- Identify and report any potential risks or concerns regarding the safety and well-being of families.
- Stay knowledgeable about current social work practices and policies to ensure effective service delivery.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with families, colleagues, and community partners.
- Adhere to all ethical and professional standards as outlined by the State of Arkansas.
- Attend trainings, workshops, and conferences to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure a coordinated and comprehensive approach to service delivery.
- Participate in program evaluation and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
Bachelor's Degree In Social Work Or Related Field
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Social Services Or Related Field
Knowledge Of Child Welfare Policies And Procedures
Ability To Work With Diverse Populations And Handle Sensitive Situations With Empathy And Professionalism.
