- Provide direct patient care: The Certified Nursing Assistant will be responsible for providing hands-on care to patients and residents, including assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.

Completion Of An Approved Nursing Assistant Training Program: The State Of Arkansas Requires All Certified Nursing Assistants To Have Completed An Approved Training Program, Which Includes Classroom Instruction And Hands-On Clinical Experience.
Current Certification: Candidates Must Hold A Current Certification As A Nursing Assistant In The State Of Arkansas. This Certification Must Be Maintained Through Ongoing Education And Training.
Ability To Pass A Background Check: Working In The Healthcare Field Requires A High Level Of Trust And Responsibility. As Such, The State Of Arkansas Requires All Nursing Assistants To Undergo A Thorough Background Check To Ensure They Have No Criminal History That Would Disqualify Them From The Job.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Certified Nursing Assistant, You Will Be Working Closely With Patients, Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals. Effective Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For Providing Quality Care And Maintaining A Positive Work Environment.
Physical Stamina And Emotional Resilience: The Job Of A Certified Nursing Assistant Can Be Physically And Emotionally Demanding. Candidates Must Have The Physical Stamina To Stand For Long Periods, Lift And Move Patients, And Perform Other Physically Demanding Tasks. Additionally, They Must Possess Emotional Resilience To Handle The Challenges And Demands Of Caring For Sick And Elderly Patients.
