Accounting Manager

Responsible for accounting and controls for assigned customer activity, including promotional activities and customer rebates. Responsibilities includes guidance, oversight and training for staff and partners in Shared Services. Oversee accounting for all customer promotional activity including related accounts receivable and customer service activity. Appropriately process and account for customer deductions. Facilitate and maintain communications with Finance, sales and channel marketing teams with respect to all customer promotional programs and activities. Maintain knowledge of all customer related promotional programs. Requires review and understanding of all customer agreements and promotional programs. Ensure compliance with controls and U.S. GAAP. Responsible for monitoring and compliance with revenue recognition. Successfully support internal and external audits. Facilitate and implement process improvements. Knowledge and understanding of all supporting Stanley Black & Decker processes and systems.
