  1. Oversee the accounting functions of private markets clients.
  2. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting for private markets clients.
  3. Manage financial statements and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  4. Review and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and propose solutions.
  5. Collaborate with team members to develop and implement accounting processes and procedures.
  6. Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff.
  7. Communicate with clients and address any accounting-related questions or concerns.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulations related to private markets accounting.
  9. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
  10. Monitor and manage the budget for private markets accounting operations.
  11. Participate in the development and implementation of new software or systems for private markets accounting.
  12. Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits for private markets clients.
  13. Ensure compliance with internal controls and maintain proper documentation.
  14. Assist with special projects and initiatives as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Private Markets Accounting, Preferably With A Focus On Alternative Investments.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Gaap Accounting Principles And Financial Reporting Standards.

  • Experience Working With Complex Investment Structures, Such As Private Equity Funds, Hedge Funds, And Real Estate Investments.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Various Stakeholders And Manage A Team.
