In-Store Shopping Clerk

1. Greet and welcome customers as they enter the store, providing a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
2. Assist customers with finding and selecting items in the store, providing recommendations and answering any questions they may have.
3. Maintain a thorough knowledge of all products in the store, including their location, price, and availability.
4. Ensure shelves are fully stocked and products are neatly organized, making it easy for customers to find what they need.
5. Accurately and efficiently scan and bag items for customers at the checkout counter.
6. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the checkout counter and surrounding aisles.
7. Handle customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner, escalating to management when necessary.
8. Follow company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and refunds.
9. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient shopping experience for customers.
10. Continuously seek opportunities to improve and enhance the customer shopping experience.
11. Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines while handling and stocking products.
12. Attend training sessions and stay up-to-date on new products and promotions.
13. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
