1. Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
2. Train and supervise cashiers to ensure excellent customer service and efficient checkout processes.
3. Oversee cashiers' schedules, breaks, and daily tasks.
4. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a timely and professional manner.
5. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including cash registers and shopping carts.
6. Count and balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift.
7. Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or overages to management.
8. Ensure all cashiers are following proper cash handling procedures.
9. Implement and enforce company policies and procedures.
10. Collaborate with other departments to resolve any issues or discrepancies.
11. Assist with training and development of new cashiers.
12. Continuously seek opportunities to improve and streamline checkout processes.
13. Adhere to all safety and security protocols.
14. Provide support to other areas of the store as needed.
15. Demonstrate a strong knowledge of store products and services to assist customers as needed.
