1. Oversee front-end operations to ensure efficient and effective checkout process for customers.
2. Train and supervise cashiers to ensure exceptional customer service.
3. Manage cash registers and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
4. Resolve any customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner.
5. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with other departments to ensure product availability.
6. Create and maintain schedules for cashiers to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
7. Collaborate with store management to implement and maintain store policies and procedures.
8. Ensure all cashiers are knowledgeable about sales, promotions, and store policies.
9. Perform regular audits to ensure accuracy of cashiers' transactions.
10. Continuously strive to improve customer satisfaction and maintain a positive shopping experience.
11. Train and cross-train cashiers on all store procedures and processes.
12. Maintain a clean and organized front-end, including register areas and shopping carts.
13. Assist in hiring, training, and evaluating new cashiers.
14. Monitor and report on cashier performance and provide feedback for improvement.
15. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments to improve customer service strategies.
16. Collaborate with other department heads to ensure a cohesive and efficient store operation.
17. Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
18. Handle and balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift.
19. Perform other duties as assigned by store management.
