1. Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
2. Assist customers in locating and selecting products, answering questions and providing recommendations.
3. Ensure shelves are fully stocked and organized, with products properly labeled and rotated.
4. Receive and check in deliveries, verifying accuracy of orders and properly storing items.
5. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grocery department, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
6. Assist with inventory management, including monitoring stock levels and reporting any discrepancies or low stock items.
7. Follow company policies and procedures for handling and storing perishable and non-perishable items.
8. Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing any customer concerns or complaints.
9. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a positive and efficient shopping experience for customers.
10. Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the safety of customers and employees.
11. Continuously educate oneself on product knowledge and be able to provide information to customers.
12. Follow cash handling procedures for processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
13. Work in a fast-paced environment and be able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
14. Attend team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on company policies and procedures.
15. Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times and represent the company in a positive manner.
