1. Greet and welcome customers to the bakery department, providing friendly and knowledgeable service.
2. Maintain a clean and organized bakery department, including display cases and work areas.
3. Ensure all bakery products are stocked and rotated to maintain freshness.
4. Assist customers in selecting bakery items, answering questions, and providing recommendations.
5. Prepare and package bakery items according to company standards and customer orders.
6. Monitor and track inventory levels, placing orders as needed to ensure adequate stock.
7. Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
8. Collaborate with team members to create visually appealing and well-stocked bakery displays.
9. Communicate with bakery team and other store departments to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
10. Continuously learn and stay up-to-date on new bakery products, techniques, and trends.
11. Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
12. Provide excellent customer service by addressing and resolving any customer concerns or complaints.
13. Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols, while performing job duties.
14. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper handling and storage of bakery products.
15. Participate in team meetings and training sessions to improve skills and knowledge.
16. Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards customers and team members at all times.
17. Perform other duties as assigned by the Bakery Manager or Store Manager.
