2. Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper storage of products in the designated areas.
3. Collaborate with the purchasing team to resolve any discrepancies or issues with received products.
4. Coordinate with the store team to ensure timely and efficient restocking of products on the shelves.
5. Conduct routine checks on product expiry dates and communicate any issues to the store management.
6. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized receiving area to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
7. Train and mentor new receiving team members on proper procedures and protocols.
8. Communicate with vendors and suppliers regarding product deliveries, shortages, and damaged goods.
9. Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain the freshness and integrity of the products.
10. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with inquiries and requests related to products.
11. Act as a backup for the receiving manager in their absence and ensure smooth operations of the receiving department.
12. Continuously strive to improve receiving processes and suggest ideas for cost-effective and efficient operations.
13. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including but not limited to, attendance, punctuality, and dress code.
14. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing the company and its values.
15. Perform other duties as assigned by the store management.
