In this role, you will assist the Deli Manager in overseeing the daily operations of our deli department and ensuring that our customers receive the highest quality, freshest deli offerings.   1. Assist the Deli Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the deli department.
  2. Ensure that the deli department is properly stocked and maintained at all times.
  3. Supervise and lead a team of deli employees, providing guidance, training, and support.
  4. Maintain a high level of customer service, ensuring that customers receive the best experience and highest quality products.
  5. Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as food safety and sanitation regulations.
  6. Assist in creating and implementing promotional and marketing strategies to increase deli sales.
  7. Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed to maintain stock levels and meet customer demand.
  8. Collaborate with the Deli Manager to develop and implement new recipes and menu items.
  9. Oversee the preparation and presentation of deli offerings, ensuring they meet quality and freshness standards.
  10. Address any customer concerns or complaints and resolve them in a timely and professional manner.
  11. Maintain a clean and organized deli department, including workstations, equipment, and storage areas.
  12. Monitor and track deli department sales and expenses, making recommendations for improvement where needed.
  13. Assist in conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback to deli employees.
  14. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure the deli department remains competitive and innovative.
  15. Communicate effectively with the Deli Manager, store management, and other department managers to ensure smooth operations and achieve overall store goals.
