We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Bakery Manager to join our team and assist in the daily operations of our bakery department. As the Assistant Bakery Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the highest quality baked goods are available to our customers.   1. Assist in managing the daily operations of the bakery department, including overseeing production, inventory management, and scheduling.
  2. Ensure the highest quality standards for all baked goods by adhering to proper recipes, procedures, and food safety standards.
  3. Train and develop bakery team members on baking techniques, customer service, and department procedures.
  4. Collaborate with the Bakery Manager to develop and implement new products and promotions to meet customer demands and increase sales.
  5. Maintain a clean and organized bakery department, including proper storage and rotation of products, as well as following sanitation and safety guidelines.
  6. Monitor and maintain inventory levels, including ordering and receiving products, to ensure adequate supply for daily production.
  7. Assist in creating and maintaining schedules for bakery team members to ensure adequate coverage during peak business hours.
  8. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with product selection, answering questions, and resolving any issues or concerns.
  9. Monitor sales and expenses to ensure department goals are met, and make necessary adjustments to improve profitability.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends and new baking techniques to continuously improve the bakery department and provide customers with innovative and high-quality products.
  11. Handle customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner, and escalate issues to the Bakery Manager as needed.
  12. Collaborate with other department managers to ensure smooth operation and effective communication between departments.
  13. Enforce company policies and procedures, including safety protocols, and ensure all team members are trained and in compliance.
  14. Assist in managing and maintaining bakery equipment, including troubleshooting and scheduling maintenance as needed.
  15. Assist in conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback to bakery team members to promote growth and development within the department.
