Job Description

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Bakery Manager to join our team and help us deliver the best baked goods to our customers. As an Assistant Bakery Manager, you will have the opportunity to work alongside our talented Bakery Manager and assist in overseeing the daily operations of our bakery department.   1. Assist the Bakery Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the bakery department.
  2. Ensure that all baked goods are of the highest quality and meet Sprouts' standards.
  3. Train and mentor bakery team members on proper baking techniques and customer service.
  4. Help create and implement new recipes and products to keep the bakery department fresh and innovative.
  5. Monitor inventory levels and place orders for necessary ingredients and supplies.
  6. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  7. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their bakery needs.
  8. Collaborate with other department managers to ensure a cohesive and efficient store operation.
  9. Assist with scheduling and managing the bakery team's workload to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends and make recommendations to improve the bakery department.
  11. Handle and resolve any customer concerns or complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  12. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  13. Assist in conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback to team members.
  14. Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the overall success of the bakery department and store.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience In Bakery Operations: Applicants Should Have At Least 2 Years Of Experience In Bakery Operations, Including Knowledge Of Baking Techniques, Equipment, And Inventory Management.
