  1. Oversee bakery operations: The Assistant Bakery Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the bakery department, including managing inventory, scheduling staff, and ensuring quality control.
  2. Train and manage staff: This role will involve training and supervising bakery staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  3. Maintain inventory levels: The Assistant Bakery Manager will be responsible for monitoring inventory levels, ordering supplies, and ensuring that the bakery department is well-stocked at all times.
  4. Ensure quality control: It will be the responsibility of the Assistant Bakery Manager to maintain high-quality standards for all baked goods, including monitoring freshness, appearance, and taste.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Bakery Setting, With At Least 1 Year In A Supervisory Or Leadership Role.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Baking Techniques And Ingredients, Including Experience With Specialty Diets Such As Gluten-Free Or Vegan.

  • Excellent Customer Service Skills And The Ability To Create A Welcoming And Inclusive Atmosphere For Customers And Team Members.

  • Proven Ability To Manage Inventory, Order Supplies, And Maintain A Clean And Organized Bakery Department.

  • Demonstrated Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Train And Develop Team Members, Delegate Tasks, And Handle Customer And Employee Concerns Effectively.
