Job Description

Assess outcome of pricing actions regarding their effect on the market and from a revenue perspective-Identify trends and has a fundamental understanding of the data; Can make basic recommendations. Monitor and analyze the competitive environment, staying apprised of all industry issues pertaining to pricing and routing initiatives. Monitor competitive fare data and report findings to the Pricing Manager and other members of senior management as necessary. Owns internal reporting of carrier fare and rule actions on a transmission-by-transmission basis. Perform daily assessment of competitor fare filings and develop price points in alignment with overall Pricing strategies; adjust structure fares in Southwest markets within certain overall guidelines set forth by Pricing leadership. Prepare daily summaries of pricing actions (internal and external) and prepare Leadership level summaries of pricing actions.

Job Qualifications

2 years of experience in Analytical/problem-solving or other relevant experience
Demonstrates ability to interpret data, draw implications and modify approach
Is able to quickly and accurately respond to urgent requests
Collaborates within and across Teams in Revenue Management to ensure a consistent story
