
Specialist, Environmental
Manage compliance program activities including planning, organizing, directing and reporting environmental and operational issues. Maintain and improve programs across all environmental media (air/water/waste) to comply with environmental regulations, permit requirements, internal policies and standards. Managing air permit application renewals, review of draft permits and assist in rolling out new permits to operations. Develop and write procedures and protocols based on environmental regulations that are relevant to Company operations and Business Units. Formulate and recommend the annual operating and capital budgets and track the budgets according to plan. Manage environmental consultants/contractors for as needed environmental support.
Minimum of 5-8 years’ experience in environmental compliance (air, water and/or waste)
Experience managing large complex projects with significant environmental implications
Ability to manage multiple projects with limited supervision
Familiarity with ISO 14001
