- Install and maintain HVAC piping systems: The primary responsibility of the Industrial HVAC Pipefitter will be to install and maintain HVAC piping systems in our power plants and other industrial facilities. This includes following blueprints and specifications to ensure the correct installation and functioning of the systems.
- Conduct repairs and troubleshoot issues: The Pipefitter will be responsible for conducting repairs on HVAC piping systems as needed. This may involve troubleshooting issues, identifying the root cause of problems, and implementing effective solutions to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.
- Adhere to safety protocols: The Pipefitter will be expected to adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment. This includes utilizing personal protective equipment, following safety guidelines, and reporting any potential safety hazards.
- Collaborate with team members: The Pipefitter will work closely with other team members, including engineers and technicians, to complete projects and maintain the functionality of our HVAC systems. This may involve coordinating tasks, sharing knowledge and expertise, and providing assistance when needed.
- Maintain accurate records: The Pipefitter will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of all HVAC piping installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks. This may include documenting work completed, recording any issues or concerns, and keeping track of materials and supplies used.
- Adhere to company standards and regulations: The Pipefitter will be expected to follow all company standards and regulations related to the installation and maintenance of HVAC piping systems. This includes compliance with industry and government codes and regulations.
- Continuously improve processes: The Pipefitter should have a dedication to continuous improvement and be proactive in identifying ways to improve processes and procedures related to HVAC piping systems. This may involve suggesting new techniques, tools, or technologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace: The Pipefitter will be responsible for keeping their work area clean and organized at all times. This includes properly storing tools and equipment, disposing of waste
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Industrial Hvac Pipefitting, Preferably In A Power Plant Or Industrial Setting.
Extensive Knowledge And Experience With Various Types Of Piping Systems, Including Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, And High-Pressure Systems.
Ability To Read And Interpret Technical Drawings And Blueprints, As Well As Knowledge Of Building And Mechanical Codes.
Proficient In The Use Of Hand And Power Tools, As Well As Welding And Brazing Techniques.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Team Environment And Communicate With Other Trades And Engineers.
