Job Description

Coordinate compliance strategies for NERC reliability standards, providing outstanding customer service to key subject matter experts and management within BPO. Proactively engage in NERC/SERC activities and ensure audit-readiness for specific standards. Support the oversight of Southern Company’s short-term transmission service market, including processing of TSRs, coordination with customers, and implementation of new features/products. Fulfill the Transmission Service Provider obligations defined in the Southern Company Open Access Transmission Tariff (“OATT”). Engage in industry committees in order to influence regulatory and/or industry outcomes. Work with the necessary individuals (internal and external) and resolve unique operational challenges or compliance needs. Provide on-call support to effectuate the 24x7 operations of the Bulk Electric System (impact outside business hours minimal).
