Plant Accounting Manager

You will act as a SME for capital related GRC requests and lead the effort of successful implementation of the GRC decisions. You will also provide guidance and recommendation for process improvements to drive efficiencies in the organization and present conclusions to senior management. Lead and manage a team of accountants including selection, hiring, goal setting, performance management and staff development. Serve as a Fixed Asset Accounting expert providing capital accounting related guidance to various operating units; possess a deep understanding of both FERC and GAPP accounting and interpret and apply these principles to resolve and document appropriate accounting conclusions. Lead a team to complete monthly Plant Accounting close activities including performing quarterly and annual compliance reporting and support data request for various regulatory agencies Work closely with other teams within Capital Asset Accounting to share timely information and achieve the efficiencies across the organization.
