Plant Manager

Developing the annual plant operating budget, including preparation and presentation to executive management. Writing Capital Authorization Applications (CAAs) for capital expenditures as needed for value generating and/or value maintaining projects. Continuously improving production/plant operations and ensuring there is an ongoing program to control and reduce costs, improve quality and operational efficiency. Promoting a culture in which production and maintenance work together to solve issues that have the potential to impact productivity, safety or quality. Supporting and promoting a maintenance excellence process as well as leading a comprehensive safety education and training process as directed by the division’s Safety Manager. Partnering with the division’s Commercial Team and/or Engineering Team as needed on new product costing and business growth opportunities by providing accurate manufacturing information. Building local contacts in the community and region.
