Job Description

Smart & Final is looking for a Service Manager who is an experienced team leader and customer service guru. You must be highly organized and detail-oriented with a passion for delivering an exceptional shopping experience. The ideal candidate has excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a knack for problem solving, and a customer-centric attitude. You will be responsible for supervising the customer service team, managing day-to-day operations, and ensuring quality customer service at all times. Minimum Qualifications:• 5+ years of experience in customer service, retail, or a related field• Proven ability to lead and manage teams• Expertise in customer service operations• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills• Ability to multitask and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other related software programs • High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise customer service team and ensure that customer service standards are consistently met.
  2. Manage day-to-day operations and customer service tasks.
  3. Monitor customer service team performance and provide feedback and coaching.
  4. Develop and implement customer service policies and procedures.
  5. Resolve customer service inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  6. Monitor customer service KPIs and performance metrics.
  7. Maintain accurate records of customer service requests and inquiries.
  8. Train, motivate, and manage customer service staff.
  9. Analyze customer satisfaction data and identify areas of improvement.
  10. Develop and maintain relationships with customers and vendors.
