Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and goal-oriented Service Manager to join Smart & Final’s team of professionals. As Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our store, ensuring excellence in customer service and operational efficiency. You will also be addressing customer complaints, managing personnel, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to manage diverse customer needs. You should also be able to multitask and prioritize tasks, while remaining organized and detail-oriented. In addition, you must have a minimum of two years of experience in a retail store, preferably in a managerial role. If you are passionate about customer service and have a strong commitment to excellence, this is the job for you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement strategies to maximize store efficiency and profitability.
  2. Identify customer needs and ensure that customer service standards are met.
  3. Monitor inventory levels, ordering, and restocking processes.
  4. Recruit, train, and manage personnel.
  5. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  6. Address customer complaints and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  7. Create and analyze reports to track store performance.
  8. Develop and implement customer loyalty programs.
  9. Identify opportunities for improvement and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
  10. Monitor store budget and costs.
