Job Description

Are you a natural leader with a passion for customer service and the food industry? Smart & Final is looking for a Service Manager to join our team! As our Service Manager, you will be in charge of providing exceptional customer service and leading our team of associates in a fast-paced environment.To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of two years of management experience in a fast-paced food service or retail environment. You must have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to motivate a team. You must also have the ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure, as well as be knowledgeable about food safety and sanitation regulations.If you are a driven and detail-oriented individual who loves working with people and has a knack for finding creative solutions to tricky problems, this may be the perfect job for you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead a team of associates in a fast-paced environment and provide exceptional customer service.
  2. Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
  3. Monitor employee performance and provide feedback when necessary.
  4. Resolve customer complaints quickly and efficiently.
  5. Develop and implement strategies to increase customer satisfaction.
  6. Manage the store’s inventory and ensure proper stocking.
  7. Train and coach staff on customer service best practices.
  8. Monitor store operations and identify areas for improvement.
  9. Develop and maintain positive relationships with vendors.
  10. Create reports and analyze data to track store performance.
