Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced, highly organized, and customer-focused Service Manager to join our team at Smart & Final. In this exciting and dynamic role, you’ll be responsible for leading a team of employees, overseeing day-to-day operations, and ensuring that our customers have a positive shopping experience.To be successful in this position, you must have a minimum of 2 years of management experience in a retail setting, strong problem-solving skills, and superb communication skills. Responsibilities:

  1. Lead a team of employees to ensure efficient day-to-day operations.
  2. Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain a high level of customer service.
  3. Train and motivate staff to meet customer service goals.
  4. Monitor customer feedback and implement appropriate changes to ensure customer satisfaction.
  5. Manage staff performance and address any issues quickly and efficiently.
  6. Monitor inventory levels and ensure appropriate stock levels are maintained.
  7. Develop and implement promotional strategies to increase sales.
  8. Monitor operational costs and ensure budget is adhered to.
  9. Ensure compliance with local and federal regulations.
  10. Address customer complaints in a professional manner.
